- On a new house, a basic wardrobe counts as building materials: the room’s walls on three sides, bare inside, one shelf, one rail and a door. Drawers or internal panels make it furniture at 20%.
- A qualifying conversion to homes, or renovating a home empty for two years or more, is 5%. Fitting bedroom furniture on that work is 20%.
