  • Fitted in a home until 31 March 2027, a heating system built on a heat pump, with its radiators, pipework and controls, is one zero-rated supply (VAT Notice 708/6).
  • Since 1 February 2024, the groundworks or dredging to lay a ground or water source heat pump’s pipework at a home have been zero rated too, to 31 March 2027.
  • An air conditioning install is usually quoted as the indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant pipework and trunking, the condensate drain, the electrical supply, commissioning and labour.
