Built around the work.

Most air con units count as heat pumps.

HMRC treats most air conditioning units as air source heat pumps, which can reverse to cool. Only a unit fixed in place qualifies for the energy-saving zero rate, never a portable one.

Every unit, down to its refrigerant.

Each unit keeps its output and refrigerant. An air conditioning unit adds its refrigerant charge in kg. A heat pump adds its source: air to water, ground source or air to air.

Leak checks signed with the F-Gas number.

A leak check or commissioning sheet can hold readings, photos and a signature. With F-Gas as its Register recorded at sign-off, the signed PDF prints the signer’s number. Each reading shows last time’s figure.

A sheet for each unit on the site.

A job at a site with several units can hold a sheet for each one. Signing a sheet moves on its own unit’s service date and no other.

Planned maintenance, visit by visit.

With Repeat on, a job recurs from Every week to Every 6 months, up to a year ahead. Each date becomes its own job, with one visit and one invoice. A customer On account gets a statement.

Questions, answered.

Can I see which units are due for a service?
Yes. The Appliances page lists every unit in service across your customers, soonest service first. Overdue, Due soon and No date narrow the list, and so does a kind, such as Heat pump in place of Any kind. A search finds a unit by serial, postcode, make, model, customer or address.
Does it apply for Boiler Upgrade Scheme vouchers?
No. In England and Wales the installer applies to Ofgem for the voucher, and nothing is sent to Ofgem from the office.
Does it work out a unit’s CO₂ equivalent?
No. Nothing works out a CO₂ equivalent from a unit’s refrigerant and its charge, so no leak check interval is set from one.
