- Under PSA 74:2019, each prospective client gets a written quotation with the total cost and the ways to pay. An emergency call-out needs only a verbal one, given before the work.
- Alarm monitoring is at 23% whatever rate the install carries. In the office, a householder’s quote can carry monitoring as a Separate, standard rate line, outside the two-thirds rule.
- When a client asks for a contract, PSA 74:2019 has the contract state the total cost with VAT, the scope of the service, the contract period and the terms for ending it.
