- Under Part L of the Building Regulations, a replacement oil boiler in an existing home must reach a seasonal efficiency of 90% where practicable. In effect, that means a condensing boiler.
- A tank replacement is usually quoted as the new tank and its base, the pipework, filter and fire valve, moving the oil left in the old tank, and taking that tank away.
