Under the Electricity Regulation Act 1999, a Registered Electrical Contractor issues a completion certificate for all electrical work except minor works.

A Reading has a Unit and can have limits. Given a pass or fail set as its Answers, a reading outside its limits is a fail. A section asked As rows the engineer adds takes a row for each circuit.
A Consumer unit is kept at its address with its ways and main switch. A sheet started on one shows the figures from the unit’s last signed sheet of that kind. Circuit rows match by name, so each shows its own figures.
A finding is filed against the address as Dangerous, Major, Minor or Advisory. Administrators are told about a dangerous one. Quote them on Findings turns the ones ticked into one draft quote to price.
Your meters sit under Test instruments, each with the Calibration due date that administrators are warned of thirty days ahead. A Test instrument question records the meter picked and that date.
A Safe Electric certificate is issued on ECS or on paper, outside the office. Add a certificate on the job records its number, issue day and who certified it. A paper one stays on Today until Posted is pressed.
A rewire, a new circuit or a repair to a building’s wiring is RCT work when a principal contractor pays. A periodic inspection with no repair in it is not, and the office bills one at 23% once you are registered.
