Stump grinding and taking the logs away can each be an Optional extra on a felling quote. Your customer picks the grinding, the logs or both, then accepts by typing their name and paying any deposit by card.
Add a RAMS files the method statement once for every felling job. The acknowledgement takes the day’s hazards and controls with a signature, and can hold the felling until it is signed or waived.
Each site keeps its Hazards, such as a power line over the garden, and every job there shows them. Photos of the trees filed with Add photos on the site stay with the address after the job is done.
A green waste receipt, with its photo, goes on the visit under Mileage and receipts. It counts in the job’s cost and never reaches the customer’s invoice.
Tree surgery is standard rated at 20%. Logs held out for sale as firewood are 5% if the buyer will not resell them. On a householder’s invoice, a VAT-registered firm can bill the logs on a Separate, reduced rate line.
