The damp and timber survey can be Billed at a Fixed price, with your fee as its line. Its kind of work is set at 23%, Revenue’s rate for a survey. A survey job opened on the New job sheet carries that fee.

When the damp comes back.

A return to treated work can be a new job marked This is a callback of… the finished treatment, with Why it went back out, such as Same fault again. Callbacks in Performance gives each kind of work’s rate.

A guarantee can outlast the owner who paid for it. Move on the site’s sheet hands the address, with its appliances and photographs, to the new owner. Jobs here still lists the survey and the treatment.

Can the office write the guarantee for a treatment?
No. It writes no guarantee and arranges no guarantee insurance. A field added On every job under Your own fields can hold the guarantee’s number, so the treatment job keeps it.
Is a damp repair or a ventilation install RCT work?
Yes, where a principal contractor pays for it. Installing a ventilation system in a building is a construction operation in Revenue’s RCT manual, and so is damp treatment that repairs the building.
Can it take readings straight from my moisture meter?
No. Nothing connects to a meter or a data logger. A figure is typed into a Reading on the sheet, in the Unit you gave that question, such as %WME.
Is there a damp survey or mortgage report template?
No. A damp survey is a sheet you build from Reading, Photo and Signature questions, and no mortgage report form comes with it.
