Kitchen quotes in sections, with extras.

Units and fitting each sit under a Section. Plinth lights can be an Optional extra. The customer ticks extras, types their name and pays any Deposit by card to accept. Extras that move the VAT rate are refused.

The oven and the dishwasher are fittings.

Revenue treats hobs, ovens, fridges and dishwashers as fittings at 23%, fitted or not. For a householder, a VAT-registered firm charges a Separate, standard rate appliance line at 23%, outside the two-thirds weighing.

The fitted bath and the free-standing one.

Revenue lists a fitted bath as a fixture, but not a free-standing one. Supplied and fitted, the fitted bath is 13.5% unless the two-thirds rule makes it 23%. Towel holders and toilet roll holders are fittings at 23%.

A snag list the customer signs.

A sheet you build for the snagging visit can take a row for each snag with its Photo, then the customer’s Signature, signed with a finger. Set on that kind of work, it can hold up Completing the job.

Questions, answered.

Can it record the RCT I deduct from subcontract fitters?
Yes, on the bigger plans. A fitter you pay as a subcontractor is kept as a supplier with their RCT rate. When their bill is paid, Revenue's deduction and its Authorisation number are typed in from Revenue’s deduction authorisation. Any difference from the office’s own figure is shown. Nothing is sent to Revenue.
Can one quote offer a choice of two worktops?
No. A quote holds no either-or choice. Each Optional extra is ticked or left on its own, so a customer could take both. Two quotes can go to the same customer, one for each worktop.
Can the ovens and hobs I fit be kept on record?
Yes, after Done on an appliance is ticked on a kind of work such as kitchen fitting. An oven, hob or dishwasher is then kept at its address with its make, model and serial number. Given a Warranty runs to date, the customer is emailed three weeks before the cover ends while Tell a customer a warranty is ending is on. That email says there is nothing to book.
Does it have a kitchen design or measuring tool?
No. There is no design, drawing or measuring tool. Units and worktops picked from Add from the price book land on the quote at their price. What you make on the quote gives the margin once every line has a cost.
