Making good behind old tiles can sit in What your prices never include, which fills each new quote’s Not included box. A quote can add that the customer buys the tiles. The PDF and the customer’s page print that box.

Which tile went where.
Fields added under Your own fields can go on every Site: the tile fitted, its shade and its batch number. Tiles from different batches can differ in colour. The address keeps the answers after the job closes.
Tile repairs are CIS work too.
Tiling on a building project is construction under CIS. Replacing a cracked tile for a builder is too: CIS 340 counts replacing damaged parts of a building as a repair.
Questions, answered.
- Is tiling added after a new home is finished zero rated?
- No. Once the home is complete, a splashback or a regrout ordered by the owner is at 20%. That is the rate a UK quote takes when no other rate is chosen.
- Can I see what I make on the tiles I supply?
- Yes, where the price book holds their cost. A tile picked there brings its Cost, ex VAT, and a draft quote shows What you make. A line with no cost that is not an Optional extra makes that figure Not known, never zero.
- Can a regrout or a tile repair have a set price?
- Yes. Regrouting and resealing can keep its own priced lines at a Fixed price under Billed. Its jobs opened without a quote start with those lines as their Agreed price.
