Built around the work.

Frames on order, in a column you name.

Where an accepted quote names premises, its job opens under Not started. Columns such as frames ordered and frames in can sit there in How your work flows, each a lane on the board while it holds a job.

Sealed units: measured, ordered, fitted.

After the measuring visit, the job can be paused for Parts, with the day the unit is Expected back on. A job still paused on that day is listed on Today under Stuck. The fitting visit can be booked meanwhile.

Your survey sheet, a row per opening.

In a sheet you build for the survey, each window or door can take a row of its own, with its width and height each a Reading in mm. Photographs of each opening can be filed on the survey visit.

Draught stripping at zero, on its own.

Draught stripping fitted on its own around a home’s windows and doors is an energy-saving material, zero rated until 31 March 2027. Fitted with new windows, it takes their 20%. A line for it can be Zero rated.

Questions, answered.

Does it notify FENSA or Certass?
No. In England and Wales, a FENSA or Certass installer self-certifies replacement windows and doors in a home, and the scheme tells building control. There is no FENSA or Certass record in the office, and nothing is sent to a scheme. A field of your own On every job can hold the certificate number.
Does CIS reach frames made off site?
No. Making frames and delivering them to site is outside CIS. Fitting them in a building is inside it, whether you supplied the frames or only fit them.
Is widening a doorway for a disabled customer zero rated?
Yes, when an existing doorway is widened to help a disabled person get into or around their own home. The wider door, its new frame and the making good are zero rated too. A replacement door fitted to suit a disabled person is not. On that customer’s job, each line can be Zero rated.
Can it send orders to my fabricator?
Not into the fabricator’s own system. On the bigger plans, Raise an order on a job drafts an order. Once the order is placed, Send to supplier emails it as a PDF. On every plan, the fabricator’s bill can be photographed and entered, with each line against its job.
